Dr Venus Hon
Venus graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2000, and has been working in the Manawatu region since. She believes in providing high quality dental care with gentle hands.
Venus is originally from Hong Kong and moved to New Zealand in 1991. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. She is married with two young children and loves music, Lego and sci-fi movies.
Dr Caryn Goh
Caryn was born and raised in Malaysia before she came to New Zealand to earn her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. Keeping patients’ interests first is always her priority, and she aims to build a trusting relationship with her patients. Currently, she is enjoying all aspects of dentistry.
Raised in a multicultural country, she can communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin. Outside of work, she enjoys movies, music and exploring good cuisine.

Dearna graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2022 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Oral health) and is a dual-qualified dental hygienist and therapist. She was also awarded the overall academic achievement award and top of her class, 2022.
Dearna is passionate about helping people improve both their oral health and overall health. She does this through education and prevention and providing non-surgical periodontal treatment. She aims to improve her patient's confidence and guide them toward a happy, healthy smile.

Having previous dental anxiety herself, she takes special interest in working with dentally anxious patients to help ease their nerves and achieve their oral health goals.
Outside of practice, she enjoys travel, training at the gym, spending time outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and absolutely anything that involves animals!
Something that may surprise you about Dearna is that before finding her passion in dentistry she served 8 years in the NZ Army, worked as a Nanny in the UK, and enjoyed many jobs during her time at AUT.
